Hi, I'm Julie — a freelance illustrator helping editorial teams and creatives tell their stories through vibrant, narrative-driven visuals

Using watercolours and digital tools, I craft narrative-driven and expressive visuals that blend soft textures, delicate lines, and vibrant color palettes.

Topics like ecology, social issues, and mental health are close to my heart, and I aim to amplify underrepresented voices in a poetic and sensitive way. I'm always curious and open to new illustration challenges !

Vibrant pigments and soft gradients are central to my visual language — I believe the right colours can shed light on even the most complex subjects. Since 2021, I’ve also embraced risograph printing, adding a tactile and experimental layer to my work

I regularly collaborate with magazines, publishers, non-profits, and institutions. If you have a project or just want to chat, drop me a line — I’d love to connect!

What you might also want to know…

I grew up in Eastern France and I work and live in Brussels, my beloved city. I have a background in political sciences and human rights advocacy.

I like clouds, morning fog and hot spicy chocolate. And cats. I sketch in blue and cannot draw hands. Nor feet. I like the grainy look of risography and the smell of ink.

Wind makes me nervous and thunderstorms make me hide. Rainbow colours make me happy.
